Portfolio

Picking out images for my website was a little hard due to their relative smallness, though my first draft of images gave me clearer ideas on what should and shouldn't be in my porfolio and how it should be arranged.

 

This let me know what things i should expand upon and what i shouldn't.

I also felt that i could order them more easily and create a good high and low structure with the order i made. 

Many of my portfolio images where also used on my website.

some images were expanted upon and had additional content created for them.

 

 Some images where grouped together by theme.

 

Some images where both grouped together and expanded upon, Having both different colour pallets used and a fair range of items

Some images were left to stand on their own as their size was often good enough to make a statement.



In the future if i was displaying my more visual art and less of my overall scope i may consider making an A5 sized booklet for promoting my artwork so the pixel art does not get too large and it still retains it's charm while not also filling pages with too much content.




Printing tests where largly small, and where mostly done on the most available paper, a thicker office card. my only issues with it being that due to the first designs being for web viewing i had to translate them as best i could into CMYK.

I'm not exactly sure what i want to achieve with a physical portfolio, it was more do to with the fact that i had to hand one in for the project. It is nice having a physical portfolio to show people however I largely see it containing more of my print based work than anything else.
